Privacy policy

Last updated March 2, 2026. This policy covers the taplistlive.com website and the contact form on it. It is written to be read, not to be endured.

Who is responsible for your data

TapListLive is published by MLJ, SASU, a French simplified joint stock company registered under SIREN 934 769 837, with its registered office in Paris. MLJ, SASU is the data controller for the information collected through this website. The publication director and the person who reads incoming messages is Jimenez Julien. You can reach him directly at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com for any question about this policy or about the data held on you.

What the contact form collects

The only form on this website is the demo and quote request at the bottom of the home page. When you send it, these fields are submitted and stored, and nothing else:

  • name, the full name you type so we can address the reply to a person.
  • email, the work email address the answer is sent to.
  • company, the brewery or brewpub name, so we can look at your public beer list before replying.
  • role, chosen from a short list of taproom job titles, so the answer is pitched at the right level of detail.
  • request, which tells us whether you want a demo, a quote or early access to new features.
  • size, the number of taps on your wall, which decides the plan we discuss.
  • message, the free text you write about what happens today when a keg blows mid service.
  • consent, the checkbox recording that you agreed to be contacted about this request.
  • form-name, subject and recipient, three hidden values that route the message to the right inbox.
  • bot-field, an empty trap field used to catch automated spam. A human never sees it and never fills it.

The form does not ask for a postal address, a phone number, a payment card or any special category of personal data. Please do not include sensitive personal information in the free text box.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

Your submission is used for one purpose: to answer your request and to have the conversation you started. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation the legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box before you send the form, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry addressed to us. We do not use the information for advertising, we do not build a profile from it, and we do not add you to a marketing list. If a conversation later becomes a subscription, the data supporting that contract is processed on the basis of contract performance and is covered by the terms of service.

How long submissions are kept

Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted twenty four months after the last message exchanged, and usually sooner. Enquiries that become a customer relationship are kept for the life of the account and then for the periods required by French commercial and tax law, which for invoicing records is ten years. You can ask for your enquiry to be deleted at any point before those periods end, and we will confirm in writing once it is done.

Who processes the data with us

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, which provides the hosting and the form handling for this site through Netlify Forms. Netlify acts as our processor and stores submissions on our behalf so that we can read them. Email replies are sent and stored through our own mail provider. No other company receives your form data, and none of it is sold, rented, traded or shared for anyone else's marketing.

Cookies and measurement

This website sets no advertising cookies and runs no third party analytics scripts. There is no tracking pixel, no remarketing tag and no social media widget that reports back on your visit. Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts so that the page renders with its intended typefaces, which means your browser makes a request to that service carrying your IP address, as it does for any external resource. Netlify keeps standard server logs for security and diagnostics, containing the IP address, the requested page and the time of the request, and those logs are retained for a short period.

International transfers

MLJ, SASU is based in France and Netlify is based in the United States, so data submitted through the form is transferred across the Atlantic. Those transfers are covered by the European Commission standard contractual clauses included in Netlify's data processing agreement, along with the technical measures that service applies, including encryption in transit. If you would rather not use the form for that reason, write to the email address in this policy and your message will stay inside our mailbox.

Your rights

If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you can ask for access to the data we hold on you, correction of anything inaccurate, deletion, restriction of processing, portability in a machine readable file, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw the consent you gave on the form at any moment, which does not affect processing already carried out. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, which in France is the CNIL.

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and for what purpose, the right to access a copy of it, the right to correct it, the right to have it deleted, and the right to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Since TapListLive never sells or shares personal information and runs no targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of, but the request will still be honored and confirmed. Residents of California may also designate an authorized agent to make a request. We do not discriminate against anyone who exercises a privacy right, and you keep the same access to the product and to the same pricing either way.

How to exercise a right

Send an email to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com describing what you want. Use the email address you originally wrote from where you can, since it makes verification straightforward, and we may ask one clarifying question if we cannot match the request to a record. Requests are answered within thirty days, and normally in a couple of business days, because the volume is small and one person handles it.

Children's privacy

TapListLive is a business tool sold to licensed alcohol producers and hospitality operators. The website and the product are not directed at children, and the form is not intended for anyone under sixteen. We do not knowingly collect data from a child. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to the address above and it will be deleted promptly.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions travel encrypted, and access to submissions is limited to the publication director. Accounts inside the product use hashed credentials and per room device sessions. No system is perfect, so if you ever see something that looks wrong, please tell us and we will investigate the same day.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the date at the top is updated. Material changes affecting people who have already written to us will be announced by email to the address they used. The current version is the one you are reading, dated March 2, 2026.
